Woodward Park

Hadrian Fence installed and maintained approximately 3,500 linear feet of temporary fencing at Woodward Park on behalf of the City of Tulsa. This installation supported the City's need to secure designated areas of the park during ongoing construction, renovation, and event operations, ensuring public safety, controlled access, and protection of park assets throughout the duration of the project.

Before installation, Hadrian Fence conducted a site walk with City of Tulsa Parks Department representatives to confirm fence alignment, gate locations, and areas requiring special attention, such as trees, irrigation lines, walking paths, and public access points. Once the layout was finalized, Hadrian Fence supplied standard 6-foot chain-link temporary fence panels, with driven posts appropriate for the park's turf and soil conditions to minimize ground disturbance. Crews then installed approximately 3,500 linear feet of fencing along the agreed perimeter, ensuring panels were properly secured for stability and public safety. Walk-through and drive-through gates were installed at locations designated by the City to accommodate maintenance crews, emergency access, and pedestrian flow around the secured area, and required safety and informational signage was placed along the fence line per City specifications.

Throughout the project, Hadrian Fence conducted periodic inspections of the fence line to address any panels displaced by weather, wind, or public interaction, ensuring the perimeter remained secure and intact for the full duration of the work. Upon completion of the project, Hadrian Fence removed all fencing materials and restored the affected areas to their original condition, free of debris or damage.

Hadrian Fence remained mindful of the importance of maintaining public access, safety, and the visual character of Woodward Park, a well-used community green space. Crews scheduled installation to minimize disruption to park visitors and coordinated closely with City staff on timing, particularly around scheduled events and high-traffic periods. All work was performed in accordance with City of Tulsa specifications, applicable safety codes, and industry best practices for temporary fence installation.

Hadrian Fence completed the full 3,500 linear foot installation within the agreed timeframe following notice to proceed. All crews were trained in safe installation practices and utilized proper personal protective equipment throughout the project, and the completed fence installation was inspected for stability and compliance with City standards prior to project sign-off.

Hadrian Fence successfully delivered a durable, code-compliant, and visually unobtrusive temporary fencing solution for Woodward Park, completing the project safely, on schedule, and in full partnership with the City of Tulsa.
