Murphy Drive

Our company recently completed a significant fencing project for Archer Western Construction (The Walsh Group) in Bedford, Texas, as part of the Trinity River Authority's initiative around the Murphy Drive pump station. This project was unique due to its location in the heart of a residential neighborhood and the critical infrastructure status of the site, which was subject to stringent security and safety regulations set by Homeland Security.

The pump station, situated amidst 42 individual homes, required a delicate balance of efficiency and respect for the surrounding community. From the outset, our team prioritized clear and consistent communication with the residents. We developed a detailed communication plan to engage with each homeowner individually, ensuring that they were informed about the project’s scope, timeline, and any potential impacts on their daily lives. Regular updates were provided through meetings, phone calls, and written notices, allowing homeowners to voice their concerns and receive timely responses. We took great care to honor and protect their property, establishing clear boundaries and taking extra precautions to minimize disruption. Our approach not only fostered trust but also contributed to a smooth project execution, as homeowners felt respected and involved throughout the process.

The project involved the installation of over 3,000' linear feet of an 8-foot-tall FenceTrac fence system, designed with a specialized LuxCore brand composite picket fill board. These pickets, reinforced with a metal core, were chosen for their durability and long-term performance, providing a robust and aesthetically pleasing barrier that would serve the community for years to come. The project required coordination at every step of installation because of a mow strip that was installed by another company.

Given the critical nature of the site, our crew underwent specialized training to meet the rigorous security protocols and site requirements mandated by Homeland Security. This training ensured that all work was carried out in compliance with national security standards, safeguarding the infrastructure while delivering the highest quality of service.

A single dedicated crew traveled to the site each week, staying on location to ensure that the project was completed efficiently and without interruption. Their commitment and expertise enabled us to finish the project ahead of schedule and under budget, further demonstrating our ability to meet challenging project demands while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and safety.

The successful completion of this project not only highlights our technical capabilities but also reinforces our dedication to client satisfaction and community engagement. We are proud to have contributed to the security and functionality of such a vital piece of infrastructure while fostering positive relationships within the neighborhood.
